| Here is the list of reserved numbers for 2023 (Last Updated Nov 2022). Each racer (Wheel to Wheel OR Time Trials) MUST HAVE A UNIQUE NUMBER NO MATTER WHAT CLASS YOU RUN. Any duplicates you may see are due to drivers who have been grandfathered from long ago. However we encourage even those grandfathered to get a unique number. |

| Additionally, the computer sees 01, 1, 0001, 001 and similar numbers as 1. So adding a leading zero doesn’t change or make it different than a number without the leading zero. |
| Some reasoning behind the single number system just so you guys have the background, the grid sheets only can come out of the system with grid space numbers and car numbers, there is no class numbers able to be put on them, so if we have 3 number 13 cars the grid guys have a real hard time gridding the cars properly. Second reason is that the flaggers (who are provided by the tracks and we have very little control over) call in penalties with car numbers only, so if you don’t have a unique number there is a good chance you may end up getting a penalty for the other car with your same number. Additionally we are now going to be merging the Time Trial and Wheel to Wheel numbers together, so your number will need to be unique across both TT and WTW numbers since we’ve seen an influx of TT guys moving up to WTW and wanting to keep their TT number as well as a lot of WTW guys supersizing to TT as well. |
